The Barefoot Path was created by artists Pia Rousku and Sandra Nyberg in 2012 as a small-scale reaction and continuation of the art brought to the archipelago by the Contemporary Art Archipelago (CAA) exhibition in 2011; Turku city’s year as Capital of Culture.
